Defoamer is used in the recovery tank of hot water extraction machines to keep dirty water and cleaning solutions from foaming. These concentrated antifoam liquids control excessive foam in hoses, tools, and recovery tanks to protect carpet extractor motors from damage including clogging, corrosion, or electrical shorts.
